Upcoming Events:

Indigenous Circle

LDSB is pleased to be rerunning the Indigenous Student Leadership Circle this year. This is a culturally focused leadership program designed for self-identified Indigenous students in grades 9 through 12. This program supports Indigenous youth in becoming confident communicators, effective collaborators, and culturally grounded leaders who take pride in their heritage and are committed to making a positive impact in their schools and communities.  If self-identified Indigenous students in Grades 9-12 are interested in joining the Indigenous Student Leadership Circle, please fill out this form by 9:00 am September 29th, 2025. Details for the first meeting and required permission forms will be sent to these students and their caregivers.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. We are reminded of our responsibility to engage intentionally in learning about the Residential School System and the true history of relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in what is currently known as Canada. This is a day to honour the children who never returned home, to stand with Survivors, and to commit to reconciliation in our classrooms and communities.

Yearbooks

The 2024-2025 yearbooks have arrived!  If you ordered one in late spring or early summer, please see Mrs. Stewart in the Library Learning Commons to pick up your copy.

Special Olympics Regional Soccer Qualifiers

We have two teams competing in the Special Olympics Regional Soccer Qualifiers. Good luck to all participants!
