Welcome Back New and Returning Students and Families!
As the new school year begins, we are thrilled to welcome both new and returning members of our school community. Whether you're stepping into our halls for the first time or returning after a well-deserved summer break, we’re so glad you’re here.
This year promises to be full of learning, growth, and connection. Our dedicated staff have been working hard to prepare engaging lessons, exciting activities, and a supportive environment where every student can thrive.
We encourage families to stay connected through our newsletters, school events, and classroom updates. Your involvement makes a world of difference, and we’re grateful for your partnership. We invite all parents/guardians to join us for our upcoming School Council meeting. School Council is a wonderful opportunity to get involved in the school community, share your ideas, and collaborate with other parents to enhance our students' educational experience. Our first meeting will be at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 16th in the Learning Commons.

Student Schedules
Students can access their schedule through the Aspen portal by logging in to their Minds Online account. Once signed in, click on ‘Aspen’ in the banner. Please note that courses may appear in a different order - click on the ‘Term’ header in order to view them by semester. Paper copies will be distributed in homerooms (period 1) on Wednesday.
Medical Plans
We ask parents/guardians to notify the school about their child’s emergency medical conditions (Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy, or any other life-threatening condition) and complete a Plan of Care. Plans of Care can be found online https://www.limestone.on.ca/medical-procedures
If the school already has a plan on file from previous years, we ask that you review the plan and notify the school of any changes.
Lockers
Grade 9 students who attended Orientation have been assigned a locker and lock. All other students will be responsible for selecting a locker located on the main floor and reporting their locker number and combination to their homeroom teacher within the first three days of school. This locker will remain assigned to the student until graduation. Students are welcome to bring their own lock, or use a school-provided lock. Replacement school locks can be purchased from the school for a fee of $8. Please note that lockers are the property of Bayridge Secondary School and are provided on loan for the sole purpose of storing school-related materials.
